Resilience Factor
Description
Immune balance and resolution of immune responses are critical for optimal health. Resilience Factor is formulated with pro-resolving mediators (PRMs) derived from fractionated marine lipids. The specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs) are enzymatically derived from the essential fatty acids. SPMs are composed of lipoxins, E-series and D-series resolvins, protectins and maresins. These promote a healthy response to physical stress, play a key role in resolving a healthy immune response, have been shown to have direct anti-viral activity, and work to support healthy immune cell activities during the resolution phase of immune responses. These actions result in an improved resilience in recovery from injury, inflammation, or disease
Functions
Resilience Factor is a formula providing pro-resolving lipid mediators (PRMs) which encourage the production of specialized pro-resolving mediators (SPMs) in the body. SPMs are unique molecules that evoke novel pro-resolving mechanisms and play extensive roles in host defense, tissue remodeling and organ support.1 Lack of SPM production may hinder the body's ability to effectively resolve an immune response, which can impact overall wellness.2 Prolonged immune response can lead to chronic inflammation and a host of corresponding illnesses and conditions. By providing the body with the building blocks for the resolvins, maresins and protectins signaling molecules, the immune response can effectively resolve, and homeostasis may return.3 FEATURES • Resilience Factor is both molecularly distilled and put through a supercritical extraction process for pu- rity in these PRMs. • SPMs promote both anti-inflammatory and pro- resolving actions.3 • SPMs limit acute responses and clear pathogens, dy- ing cells and debris after disease or injury.3 • SPMs have been shown to limit responses to several microorganisms, including bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic pathogens. 3 • SPMs promote the resolution of inflammation from disease and injury. 3
Indications
Resilience Factor may be helpful for anyone wanting to increase their production of specialized pro-resolving mediators to aid in resolution of immune responses such as inflammation and to contribute to antiviral and antimicrobial activities
